Anthony Karras

Anthony was the beloved husband of Niki nee Limberakis; loving father to the late Sandra Karras, and Nancy Karras; adored brother to the late Eleni and Theodore Svolopoulos, Anastasia (the late George) Kariotakis, the late Fotis (Katina) Karras; fond brother-in-law to the late Erini Limberakis, the late John (late Maria) Limberakis, the late Nick (Loula) Limberakis, the late Evaggelos Limberakis, the late George (Georgia) Limberakis, and the late Katerina (late Peter) Panagakis; and beloved uncle, cousin, and friend to many who will miss him immensely.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, September 8, 2021 from 4-8 PM at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner St. Des Plaines, IL. A Funeral Mass will follow on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at 11 AM at St. John the Baptist Greek-Orthodox Church, 2350 W. Dempster St. Des Plaines. Interment will be at Elmwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family has asked for donations to be made in Anthony’s name to St. John the Baptist Church or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or Wings.
