Boguslaw Bartnik, age 66, of Chicago, sadly passed away on Sunday, June 8th, 2025 after a courageous battle with cancer. Cherished son born on September 4th, 1958 to the late Zofia Bartnik (nee Wrona) and the late Wladyslaw Bartnik. Beloved husband of 47 years of Wieslawa Bartnik (nee Pietruszka); loving father of Edyta (Lukasz) Dlugosz, Anna Bartnik, Mariusz (Elizabeth) Bartnik; adored grandfather of Matthew Dlugosz, Victoria and Tristan Djurickovic, and Emily and Nathan Bartnik; dear brother of Roman Bartnik and the late Stanislawa Zaba.
After having immigrated to the United States from Poland in 1987, Boguslaw and Wieslawa settled in Chicago to raise their children. There he imbedded in them the value of dedication, hard work and the importance of supporting your family, which he did until his very last day. He took pride in his work as a Union Construction Worker and admired the beauty of Downtown Chicago where he spent a lot of his time. In his spare time he enjoyed being outdoors, near a lake as he was an avid fisherman. His dedication to his family was evident daily, and his legacy will continue through our cherished memories with him. He will be deeply missed, but never forgotten, and will live on in our hearts forever.
