Meadows, IL.
David is preceded in death by Charlotte Gibson (Grandmother), Eugene Gibson (Grandfather),
Donald Cambensy (Father), and Walter Talaga (Stepfather).
He is survived by his "Darling Daughters" Jessica Cambensy (Andy) Tien, Tara Marie Cambensy,
Christine Jean Cambensy; their mother Teresita Cambensy; his mother Carole Jean Talaga; his siblings Cheryl Jean Barber, Patricia Ellen Ruffner, Donald Peter Cambensy Jr., and
Daniel Arthur Cambensy. He is lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Audrenna, Dylan,
Michael, Tessa, and Elvis.
His grandchildren were, without a doubt, his pride and joy. He truly enjoyed being Poppy to
them. His grandchildren will tell you that he was the absolute best Poppy.
Additionally, he liked working with his hands. He was the ultimate carpenter. He was the go-to
handy man for all his family and friends. He could build a house from the ground up (framing,
electrical, plumbing, dry wall, paint, flooring) with his own two hands. He had a brilliant mind,
truly.
Please join us as we honor him.
"God must need another angel
Around the throne tonight
Your love lives on inside of me
And I will hold on tight
It's not my place to question
Only God knows why
I'm just jealous of the angels
Around the throne tonight"
