David Sang Kim

Sang Yul Kim, 69 of Rolling Meadows passed away peacefully on September 3, 2021, surrounded by his family.

He was born on August 25, 1952 in Busan, South Korea to the late Sung Gong and Kap Ri Kim.

He is survived by his beloved wife Jung Sook Kim. He was a loving father to his daughter Janice (Sue Jin) Kim, son-in-law Felipe Almeida, son Edward (Hyung Jin) Kim, and daughter-in-law Leeann Kim. His greatest pride and joy were his granddaughters Lydia and Valerie Kim.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 11th @ 6pm at Chicago Bethel Church, 399 N. Quentin Road, Palatine, IL 60067.

He would have wanted everyone to not shed tears of sadness, but celebrate his life. How much he accomplished and lived life to its absolute fullest, with no regrets.

He will be missed, but his legacy will live on and cause ripples forever.
