She was born on September 22, 1934 in the Philippines to Bruno and Flaviana (Viojan) Bateo. Eufemia married Vicente Elemento on June 26, 1968 in the Philippines.
Eufemia is survived by her husband; daughter Cecilia (Dan) Chisu; grandson Daniel Chisu; and her dog Oreo. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Eufemia enjoyed reading and dancing.
Friends and family will gather for a visitation for Eufemia that will be held from 4pm - 7pm on Friday, October 27th, 2023 at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner Street, Des Plaines, Illinois 60016. A funeral service will be held at 10am on Saturday, October 28th, 2023 at Oehler Funeral Home. A graveside committal will follow at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines, Illinois.
