I am so sorry to hear of your father's passing. I always loved that we had our Dad's education and ours in common. Your family will be in our thoughts and in our prayers during this time.

  Such a lovely gentleman,talented, bright and charming.  Gene adored his beautiful wife Pauline and loved his family deeply.  He was kind, God fearing,generous with his wealth and talents, a role model for many young. Gene and Pauline brought joy and good humor to our friendship.  They are remembered with great respect and love. May God comfort Linda, Susie, Maria, CJ, Lanie, Rick & Geir and know we are thinking of them.

Laurie and I recall the great parties at your folks home in Northbrook. Your Dad was always keeping an eye out for his three beautiful daughters -  especially when he overheard me asking Suzie to show me the 'darkroom' in the basement:) We've missed the lovely Christmas cards of the Corley Family but believe that your Mom and Dad are playing golf in heaven.

We leave behide us prints in the sands of our life. Those prints show our climbs, falls, changes in course but most of all it shows we tried to do it our way.
I have fond memories of your father that left a colorful print on my memories.

How sad I was to hear the news today of Gene's passing. He can now be with his beloved Pauline.
So many memories all the way back to Sheridan Road days at 515.

Uncle Gene was a true American success story- a self-made man who loved his wife (dear Aunt Pauline) and his children and extended family. I will always be grateful for his love and generosity to me, and for his booming, infectious laugh that used to scare me as a kid but delight me as an adult.

He will be missed.  Our  thoughts and prayers are with the family.   Love,  Tom & Helen

The world has lost a wonderful man who did everything he could to help his family. He is now with his beloved Pauline. I had never met my cousin till moving to Chicago when I was 33. He welcomed me as if I had been a friend since the day I was born.
