Georgia Lee Olson

She was born on June 13, 1927, in Chicago, IL. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 69 years, Evan, their son Todd, her parents, George and Dorcas Warton and her brother, Gerald. She is survived by her children Martha (Alan) Boone, Carey (Rick) Meredith, Evan (Martha) Olson, and Sara (Tom) Dwyer; her grandchildren Garrett, Todd and Joel Boone, Jonathan, Justin and Megan Meredith, Evan, Colin and Paige Olson, Marshall, Margaux and Lauren (Eilermann) DeChambre, and 21 great grandchildren. She was deeply loved by all who called her Mom or Grandma, and she will be greatly missed. Jo was a graduate of MacMurray College, and was a dedicated wife, mother, homemaker, and a friend to all who knew her.

Mom will be remembered for her faith in God, the encouraging notes she wrote to so many people, and her love for family and friends.

A service celebrating Mom’s life will be held on May 11, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at The Summit of Uptown. 10 N. Summit Ave. Park Ridge, IL 60068. Burial will be private.
