Han Kwan Kim

Han was born on July 2, 1938 in South Korea, the youngest of 5 children. He graduated from Dongguk University in Seoul. He moved to the States by himself in 1973. Han lived all over the states, but finally settled in Chicago where he worked hard to bring his wife and 2 young daughters to join him on October 1979.

Han’s favorite hobby was videography and even converted part of his house into his studio. He spent countless of hours filming and editing special events for friends and acquaintances over the years. His capturing of special moments for others will be remembered by many. He also used his passion for videography to serve the Lord. He documented many services and occasions for his church of 42 years.

He is survived by his wife, Myong Ae, two daughters, Ami (Andrew) and Megan (Bob) and 4 grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 8th 2021, 10am at Oehler Funeral Home 2099 Miner St. Des Plaines, IL. Burial will follow immediately at RandHill Park Cemetery, 1700 W. Rand Rd, Arlington Heights, IL.

하나님의 사랑하는 아들 김한권 권사님께서 2021년 12월 2일(목) 향년 83세로 하나님의 부르심을 받으셨기에 부고합니다. 김한관님은 오랜 당뇨병 투병 끝에 별세하셨습니다.

김한권님은 1938년 7월 2일 대한민국에서 5남매 중 막내로 태어나셨습니다. 서울 동국대학교를 졸업한후 그는 1973년에 혼자 미국으로 이주했습니다. 그는 미국 전역에 살다가 마침내 시카고에 정착하여 열심히 일하시던중 1979년 10월에 아내와 어린 두 딸을 미국으로 데려올수 있었습니다.

김한권님이 가장 좋아하는 취미는 비디오 촬영이었고 집 일부를 스튜디오로 개조하기도 했습니다. 그는 수년 동안 친구와 지인을 위한 특별 이벤트를 촬영하고 편집하는데 수많은 시간을 보냈습니다. 다른 사람들을 위한 특별한 순간을 포착하는 그의 모습은 많은 사람들에게 기억될 것입니다. 그는 또한 비디오 촬영에 대한 그의 열정을 주님을 섬기는 데 사용했습니다. 그는 42년 동안 교회를 위해 많은 봉사와 행사를 기록했습니다.

유족으로는 아내 명애와 두 딸 아미(앤드류), 메건(밥), 4명의 손주들이 있습니다.
