Jay Jungil was the beloved husband to Jane Jungja Kim; loving father to Eugene (Hannah) Kim and Monica (Christopher) Lin; dear grandfather to Leia and Maverick Lin.

A visitation for Jay Jungil will be held Friday, March 27, 2026 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at Oehler Funeral Home 2099 Miner Street, Des Plaines, followed by a celebration of life service at 1:00 pm at the same location.

A committal service will be held Friday, March 27, 2026 from 2:30 pm to 3:00 pm at Ridgewood Cemetery, 9900 Milwaukee Avenue, Des Plaines.
