She is survived by her husband, Austin, Jr.; her daughter, Kathryn Jauridez; her sisters, Jan (Jack) Verhasselt, and Julie (Francis Doohan; her brother, Mark Sollman; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Betty Sollman
Jill spent her career as a dog groomer and was affectionately referred to as "The Dog Whisperer" by her clients and coworkers. She rescued many dogs during her lifetime including Shawnee, Lady, Mac, Suzie, Sammy, and Cooper. She is survived by her current canine companion, Rudy.
Memorial Gathering will be Sunday, October 10 from 3:00 pm until time of Service at 4:00 pm at Prairie Lakes Community Center, 515 E. Thacker Street, Des Plaines. For information, 847-774-0105.
