Joan M. Bookwood Visitation for Joan M. Bookwood (nee Malget), 76, will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 16, at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner St. (Northwest Highway/Route 14 at Rand Road), Des Plaines. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 17, at the funeral home. Born Dec. 31, 1933, in Chicago, she died Sunday, Dec. 12, 2010, at St. Alexius Medical Center. She was the mother of Bonny (Dan) Koffler and Ken (Karen Rein) Bookwood; grandmother of Shannon, Matthew, Ryan and Tyler; and sister of Joseph (Nancy) Malget.
