Kurt F Wehking, 93, of Des Plaines was born on September 8, 1923 in Barkhausen, Germany to the late Fritz and late Lina Wehking and passed away May 11, 2017. Kurt was the beloved husband of Helga nee Engelking; loving father of Karin Wehking and Christine (Michael) Scott; caring grandfather of Bryan and Jennifer Scott; dear brother of Irmgard (Late Karl) Kirchhof and Christa (Late Willi) Ferling; fond uncle to many nieces and nephews. Kurt was a lifetime member of Schleswig Holsteiner and Schwaebische Saenger Bund. Visitation Saturday June 3 from 10am until time of Memorial service 11am at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner St. (corner of Northwest Hwy/Rt14 and Rand Rd.) Des Plaines, IL. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.
