Margaret J. Wagner of Des Plaines since 1955 Visitation for Margaret J. Wagner (nee Levie), 84, will be on Wednesday, from 3 to 9 p.m. at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner St. (Northwest Highway/Route 14 at Rand Road), Des Plaines, where services will be held Thursday, at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Montrose Cemetery, 5400 N. Pulaski, Chicago. Born Nov. 5, 1926, in Chicago, she passed away on Saturday, Feb. 12, 2011, in Chicago. She was the beloved wife of the late Arthur; dear mother of Richard Wagner and Scott (Elyse) Wagner; loving grandmother of Jason, Justin (Amanda) and Jennifer Wagner; stepgrandmother of Allen Lamphear; and cherished great-grandmother of Magan, Aiden and Kayla Wagner. Margaret served on the School District 62 Board of Education for more than 17 years, served on the Illinois P.T.A. Board of Managers for 16 years and was very active at First United Methodist Church.
