Mark Holubecki, 64, of Des Plaines, IL, passed away on January 27th, 2026. Born on February 6th, 1961 in Lesko, Poland, he was a devoted husband to Ada Holubecki (née Aleksandrowicz) and a loving father to Matthew and Ania Holubecki.
Mark was a hard-working, thoughtful, and passionate man. He spent 22 years working for UPS, where he was known for his friendliness. Despite his long hours and a challenging schedule, he always made time for his family.
Mark was a man of integrity, kindness, and generosity, rarely thinking of himself first.
Mark's hobbies and interests helped define who he was. He enjoyed music, nature, animals, and travel, often spending his weekends exploring new artists and documentaries. His love for music was something he shared with his children, leaving a mark on us that will never fade.
He is survived by his wife Ada, his children Matthew and Ania, his sister Renata and her family, as well as many friends and extended family members around the world who will miss him dearly.
We find comfort in knowing that Mark's legacy lives on through the lessons he taught us, the love he shared, and the memories we will cherish forever.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, February 8th from 1pm-5pm at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner St, in Des Plaines. A mass will follow the visitation in Oehler Funeral Home's chapel at 5pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Wright Way Rescue at their website:
