Nadine “Dee” L. Schuster, age 80, of Des Plaines, Illinois passed away on Tuesday October 22, 2024. Dee is survived by her sons, Jon-Paul (Megan) of Chicago, IL and Joel (Shannon) of Elk Grove Village, IL, her sister Rev. Lynne Lohr of State of Washington, her long-time companion Michael Kusen of Des Plaines, IL, ex-husband James Schuster (Patty). She was a loving Grandmother to Ian, Abigail (Cody) and Caitlin. She is preceded in death by her parents Isabel Stevenson Lohr of Des Plaines, IL and Edward Lohr of Chicago, IL.
Dee was born on December 23,1943 in Chicago, Illinois. She attended Maine East High School and graduated in 1961. She was a fierce supporter of local, national, and global animal charities and rescues. Because of her love of animals, in lieu of flowers, she would love if you could make a donation to your local animal shelter.
A memorial service is scheduled for Thursday, November 14, 2024 from 4-8pm at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner Street in Des Plaines.
