Niki Karras

Niki (Euniki) Karras, 85 of Niles was born on August 6, 1939 in Greece to the late Christos and late Athena Limberakis (nee Aggelopoulos). Niki Passed away very peacefully in her home alongside her daughter, after losing her battle to a very rare, yet aggressive cancer (vulvar melanoma) on Tuesday, April 29, 2025.

Niki was the loving wife to the late Anthony Karras and mother to the late Sandra Karras and Nancy Karras. Adored sister to the late John (late Maria) Limberakis, the late Nick (late Loula) Limberakis, the late Eirini Limberakis, the late Evaggelos Limberakis, the late George (Georgia Anagnos) Limberakis, and the late Katerina (late Peter) Panagakis. Beloved sister in law to the late Eleni (late Theodore) Svolopoulos, Anastasia (late George) Kariotakis, the late Fotis (Katina) Karras. Niki was the loving aunt, cousin and friend to so many who will cherish and miss her immensely.

A visitation service will take place on Sunday, May 4th from 4-8 pm at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner Street Des Plaines, IL followed by a Funeral Mass to be held on Monday, May 5th at 11 am at St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church, 2350 W. Dempster Street Des Plaines, IL. Interment will be at Elmwood Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, please make a donation in her name to either St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital where Niki volunteered.
