

Paul Hadden of Des Plaines since 1967 Visitation for Paul Hadden, 86, will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 19, at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner St. (Northwest Highway/Route 14 at Rand Road), Des Plaines. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 20, at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Born July 20, 1925, in Carrollton, Mo., he passed away Thursday, Feb. 16, 2012, in Des Plaines. Paul was a Korean War Army veteran. He worked for nine years with the Mount Prospect Park District as superintendent of grounds. He will he missed and was loved by many. He was the husband for 56 years, Shirley A. (nee Warner); father of Paula (Vernon) Brown, Marsha (Mark) Evenson, Paul C. (Wendy) Hadden, Jeffrey Hadden (significant other, Lucia Mrozek) and the late Mike Weddle; grandfather of Derek (Char), Brad (Robbie) Brown, Beth (Matt) Saip, Jill (John) Flesch, Don (Courtney Jacobius) Evenson, Kelly (Jimi) Burgo-Holderfield, Alisha (Angelo) Franch, Jeni Hadden, Christine (Jared) Hicks, Michele (Addison) Jenson and Debbie (Jeff) Scott; great-grandfather of 17; uncle of many nieces and nephews; father-in-law of Leona; and brother-in-law of Jim Warner and Peggy DeVries.
