He is survived by his children, Catherine, Christa, Cara, Corrie, and Jodi Niewinski; his mother, Dolores Niewinski; his sisters, Sharon Niewinski and Debra Muffoletto (Dan Ross); and his nephews, Marc, Michael, and James Muffoletto.
Bob was born on September 3rd, 1957 in Chicago, Illinois. He turned his passion for cars into a career, eventually becoming a mechanic. In his free time, Bob enjoyed being outdoors, and he was especially fond of hunting and skiing. Bob could often be heard listening to classic rock music, and it is our hope that you think of him the next time you hear some of his favorite tunes on the radio during a nice drive.
Visitation will take place from 4:00 to 8:00 PM on Sunday, May 17, 2026 at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner Street, Des Plaines, Illinois. Friends and family to meet at the funeral home at 9:00 AM on Monday, May 18 before interment at St. Luke Cemetery, Chicago.
