Robert’s life was a journey marked by adventure through travel, sports, and athleticism.
Robert is survived by his son, Erik Vormittag; and daughter, Aimie Vormittag.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Myrtle and Anton Vormittag.
Guests are welcome to meet the family at Ridgewood Memorial Park, 9900 N. Milwaukee Ave, Des Plaines, IL, for the Graveside service will take place Thursday, September 19, 2024 at 9:30 AM. Family will be receiving guests after the Graveside service from 10:30 until time of funeral service at 12:30 at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner Street, Des Plaines, IL.
