Rosemary worked at Bankers Life and Casualty company as a claims adjuster her entire adult life and met her husband Peter there. She and Peter lived in Des Plaines, Illinois where they raised their family. She loved playing the piano, singing in various community choirs such as the Des Plaines Senior center, and traveling in the United States and in Europe. She was a devoted fan of the Notre Dame football team. She loved spending time with her family and was very close to her late sisters, Anna and Agnes. Family birthdays, graduations, picnics, and Holidays were celebrated with all the festive trimmings and beautiful lasting memories.
Rosemary was a very devoted mom and and loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and her extended family. In her retirement, she was very active with Des Plaines Senior Center where she was loved by her friends and staff. She spent much of her time gladly volunteering her time as the front desk greeter, doing bookkeeping and most of all, living her passion by singing in their traveling choir. She was also the unofficial chauffeur and took care of giving her friends rides to and from the senior center. She LOVED the color pink and enjoyed driving her 1996 pink Cadillac Deville— a very generous and sweet gift from her loving husband, Peter.
