

He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha, his son, Wesley, his brother, Dale, and his parents, Robert and Louise.
He is survived by his son, Brian and wife Connie, daughter-in-law Tracy (Wes) Wade, grandchildren, Kathleen, Billy, Colleen, and Matt, sister-in-law, Jan Wade, brother-in-law Jim Whitener and wife Adele, and many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Terry graduated from the University of Illinois in 1958 with a degree in Journalism. He served in the Army Reserves. He had a long career in sales. The majority of his career was spent with Becton Dickinson, after getting his start with Proctor and Gamble. Upon his retirement, he and Martha relocated to Pinehurst, NC., where he enjoyed playing golf several times a week. Terry was always active in the church, serving on search committees and filling a variety of volunteer roles. In 2014, Terry and Martha relocated to Luther Village in Arlington Heights to be closer to family. He enjoyed spending time with his grandkids. He was an avid fan of the Fighting Illini, as well as the Chicago Bears and the Cubs. Orange and Blue were his favorite colors.
Visitation Saturday June 28, 2025, at First Presbyterian Church of Arlington Heights, 302 N. Dunton Avenue, Arlington Heights from 10:00 am until the time for the funeral service at 11:00 am.
