Virginia Ann Pedersen

Virginia A. Pedersen was born in Miami, Florida on April 29, 1932. She passed away on August 18, 2022 at the age of 90. Virginia (nee Hufnagel) was a beloved wife of Roger S. Pedersen who predeceased her in February of this year. Virginia was also predeceased by 5 sisters and 1 brother. She was a loving mother and is survived by Don (Joan) Pedersen, and Donna (Rich) Kuchera; cherished Grandmother of Joseph (Rachel) Pedersen, Lisa (nee Pedersen) (Pete) Steele, and Jack R Kuchera; dear sister-in-law to June Brickwood, and fond Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Virginia served as a Telephone Operator in Miami, before moving to Illinois, was a Homemaker/Stay-at-home supportive mother, and ended her later years working with a law firm in Chicago. Virginia was a devout Catholic and practiced her faith for over 65 years at Our Lady of Hope Church in Rosemont. She will be dearly missed by family, friends, and neighbors.

Visitation will be held on September 3, 2022 from 9:00 am – 11:00 am at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner Street, Des Plaines, IL 60016 following a Prayer Service at 11:00 am. Committal/Interment Service will be held at Ridgewood Memorial Park Cemetery’s indoor Chapel at 12:30 pm.
