William A. Bottom formerly of Morton Grove Memorial visitation for William A. Bottom, 85, will be from 10 a.m. until the time of the services at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, at St. Martin Episcopal Church, 1095 Thacker St., Des Plaines. Interment will be private. Born June 26, 1927, in Chicago, he passed away Nov. 23, 2012, in Des Plaines. William was a teacher for 30 years with the Winnetka School District. He was a World War II veteran, and an organist and choirman for St. Augustine and St. Martin Episcopal Church. He was the husband of Rita L. (nee Boehme); father of Jill (Warren) Dunn and David Bottom; and grandfather of Andy and Amy Dunn.
