William Thomas "Toam" Jones

William Thomas "Toam" Jones, 68, of Des Plaines was born on February 14, 1954 in Greenville, South Carolina and passed away December 22, 2022. William was the beloved son of Mattie Dean and the late Lyman Thomas Jones; loving brother of Patricia (Otis) Robinson, Cassandra Cozart, Patricia A. Jones, James Jones, Terry (Christina) Jones, Deloris Jones, and the late Sandra Jones and late Charles Jones; caring uncle of Moniqueka Jones, Will Jones, Terry Jones Jr., Latasha Willis, Jarrett Jones,Tèa Jones, Jerome Jones, Jonathan Jones, Maurice Jones, LeRoy Cozart and many more relatives and friends.

After moving to Evanston, Toam joined Second Baptist Church at an early age. He received his formal education in the Evanston Public School System. He worked for Buehler in Lake Bluff, IL for 50 years. He just recently retired.

Toam loved ALL Chicago Sports Teams. He was a die hard fan! He played tennis and was a member of the drill team.
