

Wiltse, John Walton, Sr. of Dexter, MI died Monday, August 28, 2017 at his home with his family. John was 91 years of age. He was born in Nashville, TN the son of the late Arthur and Jean Wiltse. John worked at the family business, Ann Arbor Press for many years and later went on to be the founder of Cackleberry Egg Farm and Cackleberry Airport in Dexter, MI. He married Anna Luznar in 1957. John was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting and fishing. He also loved flying and was an accomplished pilot. He is survived by his beloved wife of over 59 years, Anna, his children; Vicki (Donald) Barnard, John (Jeanne) Wiltse, Jr., and Stephanie (Gary) Klawender, grandchildren; Gerianne Barnard, Jacob Wiltse, and Jill (Steve) Babcock, brother; Dean (Marg) Wiltse, two nephews, a niece and many other relatives. John was also preceded in death by his sister, Marcia Richardson. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at 2:00pm at the Hosmer-Muehlig Funeral Chapel (3410 Broad St., Dexter). The family will receive friends from 1:00pm until the hour of the service. Memorial donations may be offered to CS Motts Children’s Hospital or the charity of your choice.
