Smith, Andrew Rodney “Ang”, age 71 of Weymouth passed away January 10, 2021 at home. Born in Yarmouth he was a son of the late Gerald and Evelyn (Forbes) Smith.

Ang was known to work hard in the woods and loved fishing, word search puzzles, making people laugh and telling stories. Favorite past times were feeding the birds and listening to music. He was known as slamming his hat down. He loved his grandchildren and family and will be missed by many.

Ang is survived by daughter, Darlene (Stanley) Lombard of Weymouth; son, Darren (Tricia) Langford of Alberta; sisters, Ada (Claude) Sparks of Ontario, Ann (Ivan) Cromwell of Southville, Leona Langford of Weymouth Falls, like a brother Wayne (Gail) Jarvis Sr. of Weymouth Falls; grandchildren, Jada, Asia, Logan, Dakota, Tyler, Kevin, Mitchell, Josh, Christian, Koralee, Phillip; great grandchildren, Kylie, Dreyha, Aliyha, Lyric, Ka’vell, Jalisa, Isiah, Hazel, Jaylnn, Grayson, Harmony and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents Ang was predeceased by wife, Pearline Langford; daughter, Candice Langford; son, Jarid Pleasant; granddaughter, Bree Hill, Julisa Langford; grandson, Troy Langford; brothers, Gerald, Gilford Smith; sisters, Joanna Brown, Maryilyn Smith and special friend Robert Hatfield.

Cremation has taken place under the care of Jayne’s Funeral Home, Weymouth. A service will be held at a later date. Donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Share a memory and leave a condolence at

Darlene & I are best friends for over 35 years. I spent alot of time at Darlene's house so I remember Andrew (Ang) telling stories and us just laughing alot. Ang was nice to me and treated me as one of his own. Rest in peace Ang.

Andrew and I knew each other from attending Weymouth school. I was in fourth grade so was 9 years old. 1961. Over the years, whenever we saw each other we always had a few big laughs and a little conversation. He will be missed. RIP

Ang was a man of great words. I'd come home and 2pild just stand there looking at me and j Christ. What r u doing here. Then throwbhis hat down on the ground and gron and say . Good to see ya. Wjat a guy. Always carrying on. RIP Brother inlaw. Will be missed by all who knew him.
