Anne Margaret Dexter

DEXTER, Anne Margaret – Age 91 of Marshalltown, Digby Co., passed away August 29th, 2014 in Tideview Terrace. Born in Achmore, Scotland, she was a daughter of the late Margaret and Donald MacDonald. Anne was an adherent of the Digby Baptist Church for over 65 years and a past member of Digby New Horizons. She enjoyed taking trips, bowling, curling, playing scrabble and skipbo with her friends. Anne is survived by son, Donald (Jeannette) of Digby, step-granddaughter, Paulette (Troy) Frost, Freeport; son, Kempton; granddaughters, Ivy (Jay); great-granddaughter, Melody, granddaughter, Lalena (Marlin); great-granddaughter, Aleli , all of Vancouver and granddaughter, Esther of Edmonton. She is also survived by sister, Elizabeth Tolmie, Scotland; brothers, Kenneth (Ishbel); Alexander (Janet) and nieces and nephews all of Scotland. Besides her parents, Anne was predeceased by husband, Paul; brothers, Ian and Donald. Anne’s wishes were to be cremated with a simple graveside farewell for her family and friends who may care to attend at 2pm, Thursday, September 4th from Woodlawn Cemetery, Digby. Rev. Donald Robertson to preside. Arrangements are under the care of Jayne’s Funeral Home, Digby (245-2525).
