Arnold Freeman Allen, passed away peacefully in Yarmouth Regional Hospital on February 19, 2016 at the age of 85. Arnold was a truck driver for many years and he loved to collect clocks. Born in Carleton he was a son of the late Sanford and Hattie (Pitman) Allen. Survived by daughter, Debbie (James) McCluskey; step daughters, Mary Doucett; Debbie (Roger) Thibault. Stepson, Patrick (Janet) Sproul; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; sister, Ruby (Richard) Gaudett; several nieces and nephews. He will also be missed by his good friend and helper Etta (Ray) Sloan and his best friend and pride and joy, “Fluff” his cat. Besides his parents, Arnold was predeceased by first wife, Alison; second wife Katherine; brother, Merle Allen. Cremation will take place with a graveside service at a later date.
