Sadly we announce the passing of Brenda Louise Griffiths of Digby on May 14, 2019 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital at Age 66.

Born in Digby, Brenda was one of 13 children born to the late Lloyd and Fern (Woodman) Robicheau. Brenda worked in the hospitality industry for many years before retiring. She was an avid crafter and quilter and was a member of the Fundy Quilters guild. She loved to travel and camp with her family.

Brenda is survived by her husband, Edward “Dudley”; daughter, Nadia; son, Steven, six grandchildren, Kyle, Brandon, Jacob, Makayla, Landen, Hailey; sisters, Sandra Taylor, Nancy Norddin, Pam Robicheau; brothers, Peter, Jim, David, Richard, Randy, Tim, also many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Susan Sloan.

Cremation has taken place under the care of Jayne’s Funeral Home in Digby (902-245-2525). A graveside service will take place at a later date in St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery, Digby.

Donations in memory of Brenda may be made to Kidney Foundation of Canada or Diabetes Canada. Please share a memory or you may leave a condolence for the family at

Brenda was a school friend many years ago, I was chatting with her last fall in Harbour South Clinic in Yarmouth. My heart goes out to the family.Brenda may you rest in peace.

So saddened by your loss. Brenda always thought of others before herself and would never ask anyone for help she never complained about her own suffering she was a very strong woman and always would say it could be worse. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Ed Steven Nadia her grand-children brothers and sisters. Brenda will be missed Rest in Peace

My heart goes out to dudley and their children, grandchildren. Brenda was such wonderful wife,mother, grandmother. she loved her family . she also was a beautiful special sister. she loved to sew and everything she made was beautiful. I will miss her with all my heart and I wish everyone could have known her like i did. she told it how it was but she was always there for you to listen and give advice. I loved her smile, her humor and her big heart. she is with Mom, our sister Sue and her best friend Gail now. her suffering is over. I am sure she will be looking down on all of us. BRENDA, I will miss you so much. You were a very special, dear friend and more like a sister. We have so many wonderful memories. I was always so excited to see you when we went to digby. Sorry to hear about Brenda’s passing, she was very passionate about a lot of things, her husband , and her children mostly ...but also loved sewing, which is how I met her, her work was top notch, and she had such a eye for color....if she didn’t like what you suggested she was quick to tell you so lol...the best part about Brenda was that you always knew where you stood in her life, she held nothing back, such a nice person.....tell it like it is Brenda lol in peace, your pain and suffering is over.
