

Wiles, Constance Brenda (Wilkins) – 67, Bear River East, passed away June 26, 2011 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Constance was the youngest daughter of the late Walter and Barbara (Van Tassell) Wilkins. Constance was a very active lady. She worked at CFB Cornwallis and Upper Clements Park. Constance was a gentle and caring person who lifted the spirits of all who knew her. She loved country music and loved going driving in the country. She loved to cook and bake, and work in her gardens. She went all out with her Christmas decorating. Constance is survived by her husband Walter Wiles, sons Eric (Becky) Wiles, Bear River; Paul Wiles, Bear River; Mark (Stacey)Wiles, Bear River; daughters Faye (Allen) Hewey, Bear River; Heather (Dusty) Gesner, Middlesex Rd; sisters Jean (Chester)Potter, Deep Brook; Thelma (Earle) Wright, Virginia East; Margaret Corkum, Kingston; brother Walter Jr. (Claudia) Wilkins, St. John; grandchildren Nicole, Justin, Desiree, Madison and Tyler; one great-grandchild Chenelle, and a special young man, Michael (Michelle and daughter Ava) Hayward; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Constance was predeceased by brother Gary Wilkins, and brothers Wayne and James in infancy. Visitation 7-9pm Tuesday in Jayne’s Funeral Home, 7 Birch St. Digby (245-2525) where the Funeral service will be held 2pm Wednesday. Pastor Fred Bartlett officiating. Interment in Greenland Cemetery, Greenland. Donations in Constance’s memory may be made to the Greenland Cemetery.
