Wood, David Richard, age 67, Digby, passed away April 17, 2015 at home. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Tom and Mary (Abbott) Wood. David was employed at CFB Cornwallis for 27 years as a graphic artist . Surviving are sons Mark Wood and Justin ( Suellen Lockhart) Wood both of Digby; sisters Karen (John) Harvey, Sackville; Kathy Wood, Halifax; and Krista (John) Melanson, Digby; brother Bob (Dorothy Doucette ) Wood, Weymouth; grandchildren Taylor, Owen and Faith, several nieces and nephews. No visitation by request. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date in Madonna Cemetery, Marshalltown. Donations in memory can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association .Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Jayne’s Funeral Home 7 Birch St. Digby ( 902-245-2525 ).
