Flora Bernice Thibault

Thibault, Flora Bernice – Age 96 of Doucetteville, passed away February 19, 2025 at the Villa Acadienne, Meteghan. Born in Easton, Digby Co., she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Lena (Boudreau) Mullen.

Mom always had the wood stove hot for all the baking and cooking she did. She has us girls help her to make quilts and most of them went to anyone who needed them. She was always quilting for herself as well as for clients. While Dad paved across the Maritimes Mom held down the farm even while hating the cows. She loved her chickens and ducks and spending time in the garden. In her spare time she enjoyed knitting, reading westerns and playing Scrabble. She enjoyed playing cards with her friends and loved spending time with her grandkids, Christopher & Angela and Shawna & Derrick.

Flora is survived by her daughters Lorena (Eddie), Brenda (Donald) and Jeanette (Eddie Bear); son Terry (Sharon); Sister Pauline; three grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Aside from her parents, Flora is predeceased by her husband Fred Thibault; her brothers Leslie, Dennis, Ross and Arnold; Sisters Marion, Olive, Dodo (Doris) and Lois; and granddaughter Angela.

A service for Flora will be held at a later date in the summer.
