Frank Otto Raymond Stanton

Stanton, Frank Otto Raymond, 88 of Whale Cove, passed away in Tideview Terrace on November 18, 2011. Born October 30th, 1923 in Whale Cove. Frank was a son of the late Annie (Frost) and Guy Stanton. Frank is survived by his wife of 64 years Eva Pearle (Tidd); children, Stanley (Diane), Kemp and April, all of Whale Cove; Victor (Sheryl), Mink Cove; Lucinda (Eldridge Garron), Westport; grandchildren, Annie (Dean) Jenkins, Meghan Stanton, Matthew Stanton (B.J. D’Eon), Tesha Stanton (Matthew Bailey), Damien Stanton, Frank Garron; great grandchildren, Aiden and Eva Jenkins; Matthew, Jorja and Quentin Bailey; sisters, Thelma Theriault, Tiddville; Ruth Downes, Mahone Bay; Flora (Ralph) Braid, Saint John. Besides his parents Frank was predeceased by sisters, Ada Stanton, Joyce Hersey, Mary Theriault, Doris McCullough and Jean Raymond. Frank was a fisherman from the time he was 14 years old, he was never happier then when he was on the water. Frank joined the Airforce when he was 18, he trained in Lachine Que., Summerside, PEI and Gander, NFLD. When the war was over, Frank returned to Whale Cove where he married his sweetheart Eva, and raised their family of five. Frank was loved by all and will be missed always by his family and friends.
