

MacDONALD Fraser D., 81- of Cornwallis Park, formally of Westmont, Cape Briton and Gatineau, Quebec, passed away October 30, 2008 at home. Born in Montreal, Quebec , he was a son of the late John and Effie (MacLean) MacDonald. Fraser was in the Royal Canadian Air Force, and worked for the National Research Council, for 30 years. He was a member of the Ottawa Lions Club, and the Royal Canadian Legion, branch # 122, Clementsport. Fraser was a part of the Seniors Club at Cornwallis Park, playing cribbage and Darts. His real passion was for cooking, especially Christmas turkeys. Surviving are his wife, Paulette (Mercier) MacDonald; son Stephan (Stephanie) MacDonald, Masson-Anger Quebec; sister, Sheila (Jack) MacDonald, Coxheath, Cape Briton; brothers, James A. (Gwen) MacDonald, St. John N.B.; Ian K. (Virginia) MacDonald, Fredericton, N.B.; grandson Jessy MacDonald; number of cousin, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by daughter, Joanne MacDonald. Memorial service Sunday, Novemeber 2, 2008, 2:00 p.m., in Jayne’s Funeral Home, 7 Birch St. Digby. Donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetic Association.
