Johnson, Harold Everett, age 84, Jordantown, Digby Co. passed away January 21, 2019 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital.

Born in Weymouth, Digby Co. he was a son of the late Frederick and Constance (Jarvis ) Johnson. He was a brick layer by trade , worked on the pulp boats in Digby , a clam shucker and was also employed at Cornwallis Base in food service. He was a member of Public Service Alliance of Canada and also a member of the Acaciaville United Baptist Church. Harold loved tap dancing, weight lifting and singing.

Surviving are his children, Gregory Miller (Donna Brooks), Dartmouth; Jacqueline Smith, Jordantown; Alvena Miller (Alfred), Jordantown; Judy (Thomas) Lucas, Digby; Holly Miller, Jordantown; Regina (Steven) Fletcher, Acaciaville; Jonathan (Tara) Johnson, Weymouth; daughter in-law, Gertrude Miller, Dartmouth; sisters Amoretta Price, Weymouth , Beatrice Jarvis, Toronto; 18 grandkids; 30 great-grandkids; 4 great great-grandkids. Harold was predeceased by his wife Leona “Addie” , sons, Myles Miller, Mallory Miller, Jeffrey Miller, brothers Stan Izzard, Raymond Izzard, Frederick Johnson Jr. and son in law Steven Fletcher.

Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9pm Monday, January 28, 2019 from Jayne’s Funeral Home 7 Birch St. Digby. (902)-245-2525. A Celebration of Harold’s life will be held 11am Tuesday, January 29 from the Acaciaville United Baptist Church. Rev. Roy Bertaux and Pastor Theresa Character will officiate with burial in Maplewood Cemetery, Jordantown. Donations in memory can be made to the Acaciaville United Baptist Church. To Harold's family we send our prayers and sympathy as you go through this time of sadness. I will
always remember Harald as one who always had a smile on his face. He was always happy to see
Mom, and greeted her with a big loving my Sis hug. She was very fond of him. Now she suffers with
Dementia and would I'm sure if aware of things be very sad of his passing.
