

Jeffery Leon Miller age 56 of Jordantown, passed away September 28th, 2012 in Halifax. Born April 29th, 1956, he was the son of Harold Johnson and Leona (Addie) Miller. He loved spending time with family and friends. His favorite pass time was playing pool. George Jones was his #1 country artist. Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Blue Jays were his favorite sport teams. Jeffery owned his own business “Jayden Cleaners”. He was also most improved recruit. (Margo “Cooke” we will be friends forever). Jeffery will be missed by spouse, Caroline “Pam” McGrath, Halifax, stepdaughter, Shannon O’Connell, Dartmouth; sons, Jeffery Brooks, Halifax, Leon Brooks, Fort Mc Murry, sisters, Jacqueline Smith, Jordantown; Alvena Miller, Jordantown; Judy Miller-Lucas (Thomas Lucas), Holly Miller, Regina Fletcher(Steven Fletcher), Acaciaville; brothers, Gregory Miller(Gertrude), Dartmouth; Jonathon Johnson, Jordantown; Grandchildren, Jayden Brooks-Connor and Tyasia Brooks-Connor, both from Dartmouth; Mikea Brooks and Daiquan Brooks, both from Halifax. Jeffery had several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Miles Miller, Mallory Miller, grandfather, John Miller, Grandmother, Francis Lynch and uncle, Sidney Miller. He had a smile that would light up the room and a laugh that will forever ring in our ears and hearts; he always hoped the best for anybody. He would brighten up the day of anyone who was around. Funeral service, 11am, Friday October 5, 2012, from Acaciaville United Baptist Church, Acaciaville, Digby. Pastor Galvin Simmonds and Missionary Theresa Character will officiate.
