Kevin, Kent and Jennifer
I was so sorry to hear about your Mom. I always remember her as being unflappable no matter all the shenanigans we got up to. She was kind and caring and it was so reassuring that she and your Dad were next door in case Nana and Grampy needed anything. I remember making several last minute borrowing runs when Nana was baking. It was clear she loved you all very much and was well loved in return. She leaves a legacy of a wonderful family. I hope that in time all the happy memories bring you comfort. As the poet Sue Goyette writes: " At the heart of mourning is an inlet with small boats for us to row forward. This is the time of remembering." May you find peace as you make this journey in the days ahead.

Joan was a lovely lady. She always had a smile when greeting me at the door. We had lots of talks together over the Avon book, at times making my stay longer when I should have been on my way. I missed her when she was taken away to the home.
Every time I went by the house I would look in and wonder how she was making out and thinking it would be nice to be able to stop and have a chat with her. I know she will be truly missed by all. Remember all the good times you shared with her.
