I would like to send my deepest sympathies to all of Lewie's family and close family friends.
He was one of a kind and a true gentlemen, just a big teddy-bear! Our family has known Lewie since I
was a little girl some fifty- five years or more. And he never has changed. Always fun to be around and
laughing, smiling and telling stories. We will always remember his witty humor and his layed back ways.
May he rest in peace, free from pain, maybe you are telling a joke or laughing with my Dad, up in heaven,
(Dannie Everett) who he thought the world of.
I am truly going to miss you ''Lewie'', you dear sweet man. (xo)
God Bless his family and friends as you face the days ahead.
Thinking of you all at this difficult time.
Kimberly & Paul Purcell (nee Everett)

I grew up next door to Lewie. I spent a lot of time running back and forth across the garden to his house. Such a kind, caring, laid-back person. He was always smiling and had a "story" for you. He gave the toast at my wedding. Was truly a wonderful man. One of the nicest people I have ever had the privledge of knowing and calling my friend. He will never be forgotten. RIP Lewie xox

So saddened to hear about Lewie's death. Such a beautiful spirit. My condolences to his family and friends. He was a friend to my family since I was little. I had the honor of being his goddaughter. That big booming laugh and bear hugs he would squeeze you I almost thought he would break me. Always called me Chrissy which very few do. A man who was full of integrity and such a kind hearted person. We spoke often the last couple of years. Heaven has a very special angel its gain sadly our loss as we don't have him here with us. I love you Lewie always from your little Chrissy. Rest in peace 💖
