Margaret Joyce Cromwell

Margaret Joyce Cromwell, age 88 of Marshalltown, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 21, 2025, at her home. Born in Weymouth Falls, she was the daughter of the late Beulah Jarvis and wife of the late Vincent Cromwell.

Margaret spent 31 years at Digby General Hospital working in the Housekeeping department. In addition to her housekeeping duties, she also provided her skills as a seamstress within the Hospital. She had many hobbies that brought her joy, including BINGO, playing card, attending jam sessions at the Legion, senior games, baking, cooking, sewing and travelling to Bluegrass Festivals. Above all she cherished the time she spent with her friends and family.

Margaret is survived by her daughter, Nancy Cromwell Graham (Eugene); sons, Eugene (Tanya), Jerry (Diana) and Pat (Tracy); sister, Evangeline Francis; grandchildren, Christa, Tara, Craig Rebecca, Ashley and Patrick as well as several great-grandchildren. Along with her mother and her husband she was also predeceased by her sisters, Marie Thomas and Sandra Jarvis and her brother, Eugene Cromwell.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 29 at 11am at Jayne's Funeral Home, 15 Birch Street, Digby, NS. Burial will follow the service at the Anglican Church Cemetery in Weymouth Falls.
