Natures first green is gold
Her hardest hue to hold
Her early leaf a flower
But only so an hour
Then leaf subsides to leaf
So Eden sank to grief
So dawn goes down to day
Nothing gold can stay.

Stay gold auntie Maggi. xxx

My Friend Maggi, I shall miss you so much. We shared many memories, with "the gang" and Murray, birthdays your Wedding, going to the movies etc. We got to know your brothers from Scotland and Peter. Maggi had a wonderful Spiritual knowledge, she taught us how to die with dignity. She was an incredible person, she assisted me and my family during my husband's passing. She was very perceptive and knew when to give advice and when it was needed. She was one of a kind. Rest peacefully my dear friend. Love, Peggy

Dear sister/friend I miss you. What a ride we had. The sad times, luckily were outweighed by the great times. From jumping the broom, to the happiest wedding I’ve ever attended, bonfires on the beach, birthday partys, Canada Day parties and all those for no particular reason community get togethers.
To Danny McNally and Daniel Myles, you two were special men in her heart, so sorry for your loss. Hugs and kisses to you my friend, pass them on to all the ones we have loved! Always, Shirley.

We will miss this wonderful lady and keep her in our hearts.
Maggi became part of our lives on her first visit to Smiths Cove when she arrived as a guest in our motel with her brother Peter and stayed with us for an extended time and when she decided to come here to live, helped her find a rental place across the street. I watched her life change with meeting Murray as she found in him, the love of her life. She drew us to her heart in friendship and we will treasure this always. Maggi you will be greatly missed🌹

Maggie will always be part of my life. Although we knew each other briefly, we shared an understanding of spiritual life few can discuss or appreciate. She was a treasure. She is someone who impacted my life deeply. Her genuine, honest, clarity was contagious and left everyone she touched with hope eternal. I will miss her. Strange that I was looking for her just a few days ago. Ciao dear one....Nella
