Mary Louise Amero

Amero, Mary Louise- Age 88, Tideview Terrace, Conway, Digby Co. and formerly of Plympton, Digby Co. passed away April 12, 2017 in Tideview Terrace. Born in Bridgetown, she was a daughter of the Albert and Bessie (Vidito) Ambrose. She was a member of Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church, Plympton which she was involved in many of the activities of the church. She was a member of Barton Home and School Association for many years, and involved in many local activities in her community. Over the years one of her favorite past times was playing cards with her many friends and her family at Tideview and enjoyed all of their activities. Surviving are daughter, Sheila (Arnold) Amero, Bridgewater and their family, Jennifer (Matt) Riis, Isabella, Izaak, all of Bridgewater; and Sarah Millan (Rion), Pennsylvania, USA; son, Terry (Betty) Amero, Plympton; and their family, Amanda (Jay) Hubbard, Madison, Camryn, all of Yarmouth; Allison and Gary both of Digby; daughter, Janet O’Connell and the late Kevin O’Connell, Evansburg, Alberta; and their family, Amy (Dean) Deveau, Morgan, Macy, Marly and great grandson, Rylan, Evansburg, Alberta; Tammy (Scott) Blades, Yarmouth and their son Michael; special friend, Arnold Trask and family, several half brothers and sisters Everette (Mary) ,George, Helen (Cyril), Phyllis (Donnie) , Joan (Ron) William (Doreen), Barbara, Betty (Burton) Terry (Kelly) several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Willard Amero; three infant babies, brothers, John, Lawrence, Walter, Ronnie, Donnie; sisters, Libby and Thelma. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 18 from 2-4 and 7-9pm from Jayne’s Funeral Home, 7 Birch St. Digby (902-245-2525) with prayers at 8pm. Funeral Mass will be held 1pm Wednesday from St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, Digby. Father Vincent Onyekelu will officiate with burial in Holy Cross Cemetery, Plympton. Donations in memory can be made to the activity dept. of Tideview Terrace who the family would like to thank for their care and kindness gave to Mary during her stay.
