Mary Evangeline Muise Budd

Budd, Mary Evangeline – 87 passed away in Digby General Hospital May 3rd, 2014. Born in Seabrook Mary was a daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Gidney) Muise. Mary will be remembered by many as the mail lady on Digby Neck for 30 years and proprietress of Budd’s Grocery. Her special interests during her retirement’s years were gardening, bowling and playing cards. Mary continued to enjoy the company of her faithful friends and family throughout life’s journey. Many thanks to the nurses and Dr. Ron at Digby Palliative Care Unit and special friends, Carol Harding and Carol Weir for their care and compassion. Mary is survived by, daughter Judy (Mark) Amirault; son, Larry (Wendy) Budd; sister, Sherry (Al) Shortliffe; grandchildren, Mark Amirault, Neill Budd, Angela Amirault, Mary Gidney and Susan Hubley; ten great-grandchildren and one great great-grandson also several nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by husband, Gerald Budd, sisters, Leta Haight, Phoebe Hutchins, Martha Ryan; brothers, William, Waters, and Walter Hutchins.
