Nicholas David Ryan

Ryan, Nicholas “Nick” David – 28, of Digby NS passed away November 9, 2010 in Fort McMurray, AB. Born July 3, 1982 Nick was the son of Larry (Bonnie) Ryan, Marshalltown and Julie (Darrel Cromwell) Ross, Acaciaville. Nick was an amazing guy and a great friend, who will be truly missed by all. Nick enjoyed having fun with his friends, and playing Texas Hold ‘Em. Nick was employed with Encore Coring and Drilling, in Fort McMurray, AB. Nick was very close with his co-workers, they were like family. Besides his parents, Nick is survived by his sister Crissy Ryan, Digby; stepsisters Jodi Robicheau, Digby and Sydney Cromwell, Digby; nephews Ryan Denton and Jacob Denton, many aunts and uncles Kenny (Lorraine) Ryan, Marshalltown; Raymond Ryan, West Caladonia; Betty (Lovett) Jordan, Brighton; Phylis Silver, North Range; Patty (Russell) Theriault, North Range; Cathy (Tony) Cute, Brighton; Gerry Ryan, Marshalltown; Rose (John) Yurchak, Cameron Lake, Hants Co.; Elizabeth (Roddy) Gidney, Marshalltown; Cheryl (David) Perry, Marshalltown; William (Cathy) Ross, Smith’s Cove; as well as many cousins. Nick was predeceased by his grandparents William and Julia Ross, and Charles and Mae Ryan. Visitation 7-9 Sunday in Jayne’s Funeral Home, 7 Birch St. Digby. Funeral service 11:00 am Tuesday in St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, Father Keith Billard presiding. Donations in Nick’s memory can be made to a charity of choice.
