I met Mike at Oakdene in 1978. He was different yet got along with most in the grade 8 class. He left before the year finished but we always had a hand shake to share whenever or where ever we met in all the years after; including out meetings over the past year at funerals of mutual friends and his family. Rest in peace Mike, ride free

I remember being in Toronto, met up with mike and we went to a raptors game it was my first game and got to share that with him. And that same weekend we went to wrestling mania and we got tickets for 10 bucks lol. You were a brother to me and I love ya. I’ll be here for your boys with anything they need, just like you would do for me. See you on the other side 🙏🏽❤️

You were such a kind person, and funny at that. I could tell the love between you and my mother was real and intense. The last time I seen you, you were digging through bags of candy to give me for my pregnancy cravings. Our family will never forget you mike. Rest easy.

Mike was a good friend. After picking him up while he was hitch-hiking many years ago, he always let me know how much he appreciated it, every time I saw him, which was not very often; and that no one else had stopped. He always had a joke to tell and always made me laugh. A loving Dad, Gramp and brother to quite a few, not to mention, a very talented carpenter. His soul moves along the infinite journey. It was a pleasure to know him during this lifetime.
