Born on April 29th, 1958 in Kitchener, Ontario, Teri was the eldest daughter of Eric and Patricia Faessler (predeceased)
Molly and her partner, Kevin Weber and her youngest son, Tyler Sachs moved to Digby in 2000 after living in Walkerton, ON.
After living at Colonial Arms in Deep Brook, Molly and Kevin had the opportunity to buy their dream property in Culloden in 2003.
Molly went straight to work on the vegetable garden and the flower beds, transforming their space into a beautiful oasis.
When Molly wasn’t in her gardens, she could be found down at their beach enjoying the views of the Bay of Fundy or cheering on her Toronto Maple Leafs. Another spot to find Molly was in her kitchen, cooking 5-star meals. She loved being able to look after her family and catch up on everyone’s busy day at Weber Electric over delicious meals.
Her Newfoundlander dog, Mozart, was her best buddy and her and Kevin’s pride and joy. Molly, Kevin, Tyler and Mozart built themselves a wonderful life on the East Coast. Teri’s son Matthew and daughter Jenna always cherished their visits to Culloden as did the rest of her family and friends from Ontario.
Tragically, Kevin passed away in 2021 after succumbing to his injuries from a four-wheeler accident. Molly was by his side for three years and devoted her life to looking after him until the day he passed at their home.
Molly was unknowingly living with a rare type of brain cancer that ultimately took her life on Sunday, July 24th. We tried our hardest to get her home so she could have passed away overlooking the Bay of Fundy from their beach, but we ran out of time.
Teri is survived by her youngest son Tyler Sachs of Culloden, her daughter Jenna Sachs (Blair Grady) of Tara, Ontario and Matthew Sachs (Nathalie LaBelle) of Arran-Elderslie Township, Ontario.
Father Eric (Helga) Faessler of Sauble Beach, ON; brother Jeff (Sue) Faessler of New Hamburg, ON; sister Michele Faessler of Digby, NS; Bridget (Jeff) Steinmann of Gad’s Hill, ON; Shyanne (John) Stockie of Grand Bend, ON and Cindy (David) McNeill of London, ON, as well as her many nieces: Courtney, Rachel, Sadie and Skylar; nephews: Ashton, Maxx and Trevor. Teri was predeceased by her mother Patricia Faessler.
Nannee will be missed tremendously by her three beautiful granddaughters; Emma Sachs and Nora and Regan Grady.
A celebration of life for Molly will be held at a later date to ensure all who want to attend can be here. If we can ask of you, please watch the Leafs home opener, crack a cold beer and let out a nice big WOOP when they score. You know Molly will be doing the same with Kevin wherever they are together.
