

Born in Greenland, He was a son of the late Ethel (Buckler) and Harold Trimper. Willis loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and time at Will’s Place. He enjoyed drives with his wife, Alice; doing Lexicon puzzles, building and fixing things for himself and others.
Willis is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Alice (Peck) Trimper; son, Steve Trimper; daughters, Terry (Terry) Leonard, Kim Handspiker, Karen (Jack) Arbeau, Jill Trimper (Michael), Michelle (Jim) Olmstead; grandchildren, Matthew (Ash) Leonard, Greg Leonard, Magen Handspiker, Paige Handspiker (Mitch), Desiree (Mike) Dube, Victor (Robin) Arbeau, Lisanne Arbeau (Kyle), Adrian Arbeau, Keigan “the Boy” Trimper-Wheatley, Katie Olmstead; 14 great-grandchildren; brother, Dennis (Crystal) Trimper; sister, Mary White also many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents Willis was pre-deceased by son in-law, Vernon Handspiker; brothers, Clyde, Lawrence, Don, Lewis “Took”, Shirley, Wilbur; sisters, Olive Hayden, Helen Rice
Visitation will be 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm on Sunday September 16 from Jayne’s Funeral Home, 7 Birch St., Digby (902-245-2525), also where the Funeral Service will be held at 2pm, on Monday.
