

Born June 16, 1937 , she was the daughter of the late Mac Dakin and Eline Tinker.

Willvene was a clerk at the store she managed on the island.
She worked at the bank as a teller as well as a bartender at the local legion in Freeport.
She also worked in many fish plants and probably her most favorite job helping her father on a fishing boat in her younger years.
She travelled down to the states with her Aunt Bessie for an accounting course then on to seek employment.
Some of Will's hobbies were playing solitaire, gardening, feeding the birds and putting puzzles together with Shawn.
Will loves all animals, especially her kitties, Val's dog Zendaya and Jory's dog Chewy.
You could always find Will keeping busy whether it be maintaining a clean home, cooking a yummy meal or thinking of nice things she could do to help someone.
She loved her grandchildren and partner Shawn Trimper very much.
Will also liked to collect rocks, she enjoyed reading as well as doing word sleuths.
Lastly, she enjoyed sitting by the fire with Shawn entertaining company with a stiff drink of dark rum mixed with peach juice, ha ha!

She is survived by her daughters Lori Barnaby of Digby, Peggy (Steve) Brideau of Calgary and step daughter Valene Trimper (Alston) Bear River; granddaughters, Jory Mersereau (Tyler) of Digby, Danica Barnaby of Digby, Drew Mersereau of New Brunswick and grandsons, Riley Mersereau of New Brunswick and Nicky (Chrissie) Perry of Halifax; 7 great grandchildren, Leroy and Oakley Stark, Chase and Luna Mersereau and Layne , Lexi and Landon Perry, as well as Will's loving partner and best friend Shawn Trimper.
Besides her parents, Willvene was predeceased by her son , Billy Perry.
There will be no services as per Willvene's wishes.
Memorial donations may be made to the Society for the Friends of Ferals or TLC Animal Shelter in Digby, NS.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Jayne's funeral Home, 15 Birch St. Digby, NS.
