Winnifred May Boone

Winnie will be remembered for her outgoing personality and love of people. She was a world traveler, visiting such places as Jerusalem, Egypt, Spain and several other countries, she also enjoyed needlepoint and word finds as well Irish Music. Winnie taught in Weymouth after graduation, worked for Electrolux, G.B. Murphy Jewelers, Margolians shoe store, and finally her own business, Gabriels Flowers.

Winnie is survived by son, Mark Antony Boone (Anne); brothers, Ronald Daley, John Daley (Florence); grandchildren, Antony Mark Boone (Joan), Adam Mark Boone (Jesse) and great grandchildren, Joe-Eva and Clive.

Besides her parents, Winnie was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Boone; brother, Herbert Daley and sisters in law, Ruth Daley and Sharon Daley.

Cremation has taken place under the care of Jayne’s Funeral Home, Digby. A celebration of Winnie’s life will be held at 2pm on Monday, June 20, 2022 at Jayne’s Funeral Home, Diane Axent presiding, with reception and burial in Fairview Cemetery to follow.
