

Alice Chieko Mori was born April 13, 1925 in Marysville, CA to parents Hikobei and Yoshino Hara. She passed away on December 6, 2017 at the age of 92. She was preceded in death by her husband Bill Suteo Mori and siblings Satoko Harada, Hideko Okino, and Hisako Okino. Alice and Bill were reunited in Nirvana right before their 62nd wedding anniversary.
On August 3, 1942, Alice a junior at Fowler High School was relocated to Gila River Relocation Center where she was interned until 1945. Alice and Bill started a family and she worked as a butcher with her sister Hideko at Farmers Supply Market in Reedley, CA. She later joined her husband Bill in farming fruits and vegetables until her retirement. In 2005, Alice had the honor to walk along side her siblings Sam and Misu across the podium to accept their diplomas as Graduates of Fowler High School’s Class of 2005. Alice was an avid fisherwoman that could out fish anyone that joined her. She was a strong and fearless woman who often was called to take care of rodents and lizards with her trusty shovel that startled the family. She loved to pass the time by doing Sudoku, word search puzzles and play solitaire. She also loved to do crafts and made several nurses happy during her stays at Clovis Community, Palm Village, and Sierra View Homes with her 3D origami Hello Kitty critters.
She is survived by her Brother Sam Hara (Helen), Sister Misu Yoshimura, Brother Harry Hara, Brother Joe Hara (Irene), Brother Pete Hara (Carol), Brother Tom Hara (Nancy), and Brother Kenny Hara. Along with children Cheryl and Jim Miyakawa, Brent and Faith Mori, Nannette Mori and Kevin Kimura, Robert and Faith Mori, John and Eden Mori. Grandchildren: Shellyse and Freddie Dominguez, Heather and Lionel Plata. Kameron and Kennedy Mori. Todd Anderson and Leti Espindola, Bryana Kimura and Frankie Franco, Christopher and Linda Kimura, Justin and Ellis Kimura. Nicholas Mori and Ann Xaipanya, Vance, Amber, Angela Kim. Brayden, Logan, and Easton Mori. Great-Grandchildren: Brooklyn, Levi, Christian, Ethan, Alani, Kai, Keola, Kinsey, and Kayla.
