Joe spent many years as a printer in Fort Worth, Texas, where he took pride in his work and built lasting friendships. Known for his love of music and impressive record collection, he earned the nickname "45", a nod to the classic vinyl records he cherished. His family also lovingly called him "Little Joe", and he was a devoted San Francisco Forty-Niner fan, proudly supporting the "Niners" every season.
Joe was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Janett Tallent (January 29, 1974 – June 28, 2012), as well as his parents.
He is survived by his daughter, Jeannie Temple of Whitesboro, TX, and a large, loving family, including his nine siblings: Maria Gloria Landeros of Clovis, CA, George Guzman Sr. of Fort Worth, TX, Manuel Guzman of Sanger, CA, Yolanda Ramos of Sanger, CA, Hilaria Cruz of Sanger, CA, Alicia Guzman-Dawson of Azle, TX, Jesse Guzman of Sanger, CA, Rachel Guzman Perez of Fort Worth, TX, Rebecca Guzman of Fort Worth, TX.
Joe's legacy lives on through his nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and countless cousins, all of whom will miss his humor, music, and unwavering love for family.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place privately, and the family will honor his memory in a private gathering.
Joe will always be remembered for his kind heart, love of music, and devotion to family. His spirit will forever be with those who knew and loved him.
